Games Worth Getting Lost In

Hey, I’m Leo. This blog is where I post short, honest takes on the weird, fun, or just plain cool games I stumble across on Steam. No fluff, just what stuck with me after I hit “Quit Game”.

Hi its me

Why I Started This Blog

Hey, I’m Leo — I’ve been into games for as long as I can remember. I started this blog just to have a space where I can talk about the ones that catch me off guard — the weird, the cozy, the ones with bugs I forgive anyway.

It’s not about trending titles or big reviews — just honest thoughts after I’ve spent time with a game.
I don’t do scores or top-10s. Just a few words about what made each game feel worth it (or not).
If you’ve ever found joy in a messy, unknown indie title — we’ll probably get along.

Latest Reviews

Here’s where I drop my most recent thoughts on games I’ve played. No filters, no sponsors — just whatever made me laugh, rage, or stay up too late. If it’s here, it probably got under my skin (in a good or weird way).

Gal*Gun 2 - Pole Position Pin-up

A totally bonkers rail shooter where you’re zapping hearts, dodging confessions, and trying not to blush at your own screen.

Notes from Me

Sometimes I just want to write down a thought before it disappears — like a random moment from a game, or something weird I noticed while working on a review. Nothing polished, just pieces of the process.

From My Mailbox

Sometimes people send me game recs, sometimes it’s just “Hey, have you played this yet?” Either way — here’s a few titles from my inbox that caught my eye. I’m planning to dig into them soon, so expect some thoughts later.

Dinkum

Saw this one mentioned a few times — cozy vibes with crocodiles? Sounds chaotic in a good way. Planning to try it on a slow weekend.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, I know I’m late. But I’m finally going to sit down and see what the hype (and the horses) are all about.

DARK SOULS™ III

This one’s been glaring at me from my library for months. I think I’m mentally ready. Maybe. We’ll see.

Baldur's Gate 3

Everyone keeps saying I need to try it — and I’m into the idea of chaotic party-based decision making. On my list, definitely.

A Few Questions I Get

Not always. If a game totally loses me — I stop. But I try to spend enough time with it to understand how it plays, where it shines (or doesn’t), and how it feels overall.

Both. I bounce around depending on mood. Some weeks it’s pixel-art farming sims, other times it’s 80GB of horse physics and explosions.

Roughly once a week, sometimes more if I’m deep in a game. But I don’t rush them — I’d rather write something honest than just “fill a slot.”

I avoid spoilers whenever possible. If I do mention something specific, it’s because it really stuck with me and I’ll usually give a little heads-up.

Absolutely. I can’t promise I’ll play everything right away, but I keep a running list. Some of the best surprises came from messages that started with “hey, have you tried…”

Nope. I have a day job, so this blog is something I do because I love games and writing about them. If it ever grows into more, cool. If not, I’m still happy doing it this way.

Just felt like sharing

I started this blog about a month ago, mostly because I needed a place to talk about the games I actually play — not the ones trending, not the ones everyone’s hyping, just the ones that genuinely caught my interest. Sometimes that’s a cozy little indie, sometimes it’s a weird anime shooter, sometimes it’s a big open-world that I finally got around to exploring.

I’m not here to promote anything. I’m just Leo, writing down what I liked (or didn’t), what stuck with me, and what made me keep playing past midnight.

If that sounds like your kind of thing — cool. You’re more than welcome here.
